"DAISY, DAISY..." I just got back from a theater showing of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Oh. My. God. I knew that it was a great movie, but finally seeing it on the big screen....wow, what a difference. All of the little details that are lost on the small TV screen really come to life in the theater. Kubrick's use of total silence during the space scenes is differently weird when viewed in a theater full of other people. Apparently, last month Lawrence of Arabia was shown at this theater.
