DON'T GIVE UP ON ME...... For those of you that haven't heard of Solomon Burke or his album "Don't Give Up On Me", check out the free streaming of the entire album here. I hope he tours somewhere near here soon. DAVE'S STILL THE BIG DOG Interesting story about how Dave Letterman's Late Show is one of the best Bush bashing shows on TV. Interesting semi-related bit in the column: Right now on the howardstern.com Web site there’s a behind-the-scenes video clip headlined “Human Kleenex” from an appearance by Bush on the Letterman show. It reveals Bush, during the commercial break, leaning over and, without asking permission, wiping his eyeglasses on the sweater of one of Dave’s female producers. “That’s how arrogant our president is,” notes the Web site, which doesn’t say how the footage was obtained.Indeed. |
