PIMP MY SANDCRAWLER! Eric over at Off Wing Opinion points us to the JL421 Badonkadonk for sale at Amazon.com. The best part? The Customer reviews. I haven't read any this funny since the Harry Potter vibrating broom thing (which Amazon has since deleted--partypoopers!). Be sure to read them all--it's worth it. LETTING MY GEEK FLAG FLY--AGAIN Ok, I can admit it. I'm secure enough with myself that I can say that I have a bit of geek in me. That's why I can admit that I downloaded--and liked--a .wmv episode of Star Trek. A group has started producing independent episodes based in the Original Series era. I have to say, they are not bad. The produstion values and special effects are at least as good as (and usually better than) the network-produced series. The sets are great, they have all of the correct props, and the guy playing Kirk even does a presentable Shatner (except for the hair). They even got the original actor from the 1960's TV series to reprise his role of Commodore Matt Decker--very impressive. If you're interested, you can find them here. |
