"FAIR AND BALANCED" MY ASS!

I present to you the Fox Blocker.
The Tulsa, Okla., resident also has received thousands of e-mails, both angry and complementary as well as a few death threats.

"Apparently the making of terroristic threats against those who don't share your views is a high art form among a certain core audience," said Kimery, 45.
As far as I'm concerned, it's just another way to block unwanted visual spam.

<Homer> Mmmmmmmm...visual spam....</Homer>

SOUNDS OF THE BIG APPLE

overheardinnewyork.com

Heh.

SOMEBODY GET THE MAN A WHITE SUIT!

It hit me this morning: Tom Delay is like Boss Hogg from "The Dukes of Hazzard". Except he doesn't wear a white suit. Or like in Hazzard County.

Think about it. If Boss Hogg could've called up the FAA to track down those mischievous Duke boys, don't you think he would've? Next he'll probably be setting up speed traps in D.C., hoping to con John Ashcroft into singing "Let the Eagle Soar" in order to get out of a bogus speeding ticket.

TOTALLY TASTELESS, BUT FUNNY

66 uses for persistent vegetards.

I warned you.

...but it was funny, wasn't it?

A FEW RANDOM THOUGHTS

- Intelligent Design - Which is more absurd: God doing all the work or aliens? Which is more likely?

- If the evangelical Christians and/or conservatives are correct, does this mean that Jesus (the so-called "Prince of Peace") hates fags as much as they do?

- Hypocracy: removing the feeding tube for a human vegetable is worse than giving the ok for (and trying to legally justify) torture of detainees. At least Schaivo got due process...

- Frivolous Lawsuits - Isn't it interesting that the same Republican Party that decries the increase of frivolous lawsuits is always the first to run to those same courts when elections don't go their way? As examples, see Florida 2000 Presidential race; 2004 Orlando, FL, mayoral race; 2004 Washington state governor's race.

- Filibusters vs. the "nuclear option" - Dealing with Republicans in Congress is like playing a board game with a five-year-old: if they can't win by playing within the rules, they want to change the rules so they can win.

- The precedent has been set. The government can now keep people alive over the wishes of a person's spouse (you know, the person legally able to make medical decisions for them). Does this mean they will also be able to force a Christian Scientist to accept medical treatment despite the wishes of the family? How about order someone to not have an abortion?

- When you pick a fight with someone who actually knows what they're talking about, don't be suprised when you get smacked down. Hard.
